Risograph is a stencil printing method. Its principle is similar to screen printing, with one color per screen. The screen is attached to a drum, and by rotating, the ink is transferred onto the paper. Since the ink is a semi-water-based, environmentally friendly ink made from soybean oil, it has several characteristics such as color blending, uneven coloring, and easy smudging. Additionally, the colors used in Risograph printing are independently mixed, offering a beauty that ordinary CMYK printing cannot match. These characteristics make each piece unique.
